Healthy Volunteers

The Welsh Wound Innovation Centre undertakes a wide range of research studies and often requires the involvement of healthy volunteers to help provide us with important information. You can be a healthy volunteer even if you have a specific condition e.g. asthma, diabetes.   

Would you like the opportunity to take part in some interesting research studies that may involve testing new products or health interventions? This would not include testing new medications.

Some of these studies may ask you to provide samples or to take tests where results can be compared to people with a certain condition, and you may be asked a series of questions to see if you are suitable for the study. 

Appointment times will vary depending on the complexity of the study. Free parking is available on site and free refreshments available at your convenience. You may be offered payment or travel expenses for participation, the amount paid will depend on each study.

Wirfoddolwr Iach

Mae WWIC yn cynnal amrywiaeth eang o astudiaethau ymchwil ac yn aml yn chwilio am wirfoddolwyr iach i’n helpu i gael gwybodaeth bwysig. Gallwch wirfoddoli hyd yn oed os oes gennych gyflwr penodol e.e. asthma, diabetes.   

Hoffech chi gael y cyfle i gymryd rhan mewn astudiaethau ymchwil diddorol a allai gynnwys profi cynhyrchion neu ymyriadau iechyd newydd? Ni fyddai’n cynnwys profi meddyginiaethau newydd.

Gallai rhai o’r astudiaethau hyn ofyn i chi roi samplau neu gyflawni profion lle gall canlyniadau gael eu cymharu â rhai pobl â chyflwr penodol, a gellid gofyn cyfres o gwestiynau i chi i bennu a ydych yn addas ar gyfer yr astudiaeth. 

Bydd hyd yr apwyntiad yn amrywio yn dibynnu ar gymhlethdod yr astudiaeth. Mae parcio am ddim ar gael ar y safle, a bydd lluniaeth am ddim ar gael i chi. Gallech gael cynnig tâl neu gostau teithio am gymryd rhan - bydd y swm yn dibynnu ar yr astudiaeth.
