WWIC & Convatec Education Collaboration
20 April 2023

Following on from the success of 2022 and building on the ConvaTec ethos of ‘forever caring’ the collaboration with WWIC will now continue with WWIC hosting monthly live updates for previous delegates while also welcoming new healthcare professionals.  Thanks to ConvaTec’s support the course will be free of charge to attendees who on completion of the course will be supplied with certificates of attendance.

2023 SoTV Annual Conference

Sarah Bradbury (Clinical Research Director) and Julie Taylor (Senior Research Nurse) from WWIC will be attending  SoTV  Annual Conference 2023  – Solving Skin & Wound Challenges Together.
This event is organised by Society of Tissue Viability. The event is a great opportunity to join the community and listen to live lectures, conduct interviews and have discussions. The conference also presents the opportunity to take part in workshops, visit industry exhibition, network with colleagues and speakers and join the live conversations.

ISTAP: Global “A World Without Skin Tears” Day 2023

STOP Pressure Ulcer Week 2022

TIME TO ACT, TO KEEP THE SKIN INTACT!

Join us this year to help raise awareness on pressure ulcers. The event takes place globally every year on third  thursday of November. Any institution or person from health care can join this initiative at their workplace.

At Welsh Wound Innovation Centre (WWIC) our highly skilled team of Senior Research Nurses undertake a wide range of Wound Healing Research studies.

If you are over the age of 18, you may be eligible to take part in wound healing research.

Also, if you are a Health Care Professional you can refer an appropriate patient under your care.
