Stop the Pressure


Stop pressure injuriesThe Stop the Pressure website is an improvement resource for health professionals and patients to access current information for the benefit of all at risk of pressure ulcers. It is complemented by the National Stop the Pressure Day in November each year which seeks to further raise awareness of pressure ulcers and build further movement in driving up standards of care.

React to Red Skin


React to redReact to Red Skin is a pressure ulcer prevention campaign that is committed to educating as many people as possible about the dangers of pressure ulcers and the simple steps that can be take to avoid them. It was originally established as a Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospitals Partnership, and its website contains a wealth of useful resources. More information is available here.
 

Your Turn


Your turnYour Turn is a national movement working to reduce the number of pressure ulcers (sometimes know as bed sores) in the UK.

The Your Turn Campaign is voluntarily funded by a group of members of the BHTA (British Health Trade Association) who are involved in the supply of equipment used for pressure ulcer care and associated skin injuries.

The Your Turn Campaign aims to prevent pressure ulcers through education. It helps people understand who is at risk, and what they can do do avoid getting a pressure ulcer. More resources are available from their website, and their Twitter site is @YourTurnOrg.
