Swansea Healthboard logo
The Pressure Ulcer Prevention & Intervention Service (PUPIS) has been serving the local community in and around Swansea Bay since 2005. PUPIS assess in ~ 250 people with pressure ulcers annually, often those with complexities preventing wound healing. They also provide information, advice and solutions affecting many more. PUPIS is a collaboration between nursing and rehabilitation engineering, relying strongly on a co-productive approach, both within the team and with others.
