Clinics

Cardiff and Vale Hospital Out-patient Wound Healing Clinics

Cardiff and Vale hospitalPatients are referred to our wound healing clinics for diagnosis, assessment and treatment of their wounds. They may continue to attending the clinic for ongoing management or be referred to a Community Leg Ulcer Clinic, Practice Nurse, Specialist Nurse or other Specialist Services.

As WWIC is actively involved in research, occasionally patients attending clinics may be asked to participate in a clinical research study or attend a session involving the many national and international visitors/students that the unit hosts. Patients are reassured that they are under no obligation to be involved in either and, as always, full consent is sought.
