Clinical Research Fellow

Guru is a practicing GP with a keen involvement in research & academics. He has a surgical background & his main interests are set in population medicine, wound healing and common infections in primary care. Guru conducted a systematic review of literature for the effects of personalised risk communication in promotion of screening. He is also the current research lead for primary care within Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and an Honorary Lecturer/ Research Fellow at Cardiff University.

Guru’s current work and research is mainly focused on common infections & wound healing in primary care. He is pursuing a PhD programme in this field.
