Senior Research Nurse

Hello, my name is Kirsty Kettley. 

I am a senior research nurse at WWIC and joined the team in Oct 2018.

Prior to this I worked in the wound care cluster clinics that were set up within CTUHB.  This is where I realised my passion for wounds.
I have also worked in ITU and on a vascular surgical ward.

My Current role involves carrying out Clinical trials and evaluations. Including recruiting patients, obtaining informed consent, data management and co-ordinating with study sponsors and monitors.  I also have a clinical role as part of the NHS outpatient wound healing service. I presented at Wound Care Today in 2019 as a first-time presenter which resulted in a published paper.
